Blue Monday

It’s Blue Monday and I’m feeling a little depressed.
My mind is jogging about how I ended up in this mess.
Born into a world filled with so many choices,
Never hearing your own discussions, but rather others’ voices.
Telling you this, telling you that, giving their opinions.
Not observing the person that lay within.
You see, I am tired of the mess I’m in.
Always trying to figure out how it all began,
Not knowing which, or what part, to defend.
But I do know that I’m tired of the mess I’m in.
